Mangaluru : A Sri Lankan national hotel management student has gone missing from one week her hostel room in Moodabidri.

The missing student is Sathambiralage Don Nimnatarushi Sebastian (26). On July 25, as per the CCTV footage, the girl is said to have taken Mangaluru-Moodabidri route, instead of going to the college.

It is said that the girl had constantly complained of sub standard facilities at the hostel to the warden, as she had expected better facilities.

The police state that either Sebastian has taken a room on rent or has been trying to get an air ticket as there are issue in her passport, which will not allow her to fly back home.

The girl has wheatish complexion and is about 5.6 feet tall/ She speaks English and Sinhalese language.

The police have requested the general public to pass on the information if they spot the girl.
