Mangalore : Dakshina Kannada unit of Sri Ram Sene condemn the obscene dance and scenes in the Spring Zouk Island Festival 2012 held at St Mary’s Island organized by the Udupi district administration, said Kumar Malemar.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Feb 8, Wednesday, he said that unethical behaviour by foreigners and use of drugs at Spring Zouk has been supported by the district administration considering it to be good programme for the tourism development. Then are the police departments holding awareness march fast and street plays for entertainment, he asked.

He also said that the political support in organizing such kind of events is shame to the country. Further the authorities must not permit such kind of events in the twin district and the official who permitted to hold such programme must be suspended from the post.

Speaking about the valentine day celebration, he urged the students and the general public not celebrate Valentine Day on Feb 14, since it is not Indian culture and every day must be special for lovers and not give importance to this particular day and Sri Ram Sene condemn this.

He also said that they condemn the minister who was seen watching the porn video’s in the Assembly.
