Mangalore: The Sri Rama Sena has urged District minister CT Ravi participate in the Dutta Mala Abhiyan if he believed in true Hindu principles.
Speaking to reporters, Sena Madhukar Mudradi, Sri Rama Sena spokesperson said it was Sri Rama Sena through its efforts which placed Datta Paduke in the Peetha and alleged Ravi who came to power using the Dutta Peetha row has been claiming that he had made efforts to place Dutta paduke at the peetha for the darshan of the public.
Mudradi further alleged that Ravi came to power benefitting from the Dutta Peetha row and then amassed wealth by denotifying vast areas of land.
The Sena demanded appointment of a Hindu priest and installation of statue of Dattatreya at Datta peetha.
He also urged the government to make at least ten bus arrangements for the benefit of dutta mala devotees.
