Mangalore : Sri Rama Sene activist traced and stopped a vehicle carrying illegal beef from Manur near Neermarga on June 3, Sunday.

Reportedly, a group of 10 – 15 Sri Rama Sene activists acting on a tip off stopped the Tata Ace vehicle by pelting a stone at the windscreen and found 75kgs of beef illegally transporting by hiding under the piles of jackfruit.

The three people involved in the case are Hussain Baikampady, Abdul Kunhi Uppala and Umar Jokatte, while the later is said give a clean slip to everybody.

The Mangalore rural police arrested Abdul Kunhi and Hussain and registered a case.

The illegal beef was transported from a house belonging to Hussainar.
