Udupi: Pejawara Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji on Sunday said that the protest by Sri Rama Sene or other Hindu outfits have no right to oppose this programme on the Ifthar Koota held at Sri Krishna Temple.

Addressing the media on Sunday Swamiji said that the hindu outfits hardly know anything about the Shastras, traditions and practice of Hindu religion. They have made an issue out of this nothing.

Regarding cleansing the Mutt with Cow urine or gomutra Swamiji said that Namaz is a prayer according to Islam and a prayer can never pollute any place.

Reacting to Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik’s statement that his outfit is ready to shed blood to protect Hinduism, Swamiji said, “I have never given much heed to Mutalik’s words. I do not want to provoke him to violence by commenting anything more.

“Like Hindus, Muslims too have few religious restrictions. But no one gets hurt by having fruits.” he added.

Having hatred towards anyone or any community is not good. Infact this incident has brought the communities closer he added
