Mangaluru : Sri Rama Sene on Saturday November 14 given three days time to release its leader Pramod Muthalik who was arrested in Hassan on November 10, and also warned state-wide protests would be held if not released as on demand.
Addressing a press meet held at Arya Samaj Bhavan, Sri Rama Sene provincial convenor Mahesh Koppa said, the police arrested him without any reason. Pramod Muthalik went to see 12 Hindus, who was attacked in communal violence. If he not released by Tuesday November 17, Sri Rama Sena will hold state-wide protests, he warned.
Reacting on Tippu Jayanti, Tippu tried to impose Tukish language in Karnataka. He demolished many temples and built mosqes, “Tipu Sultan was not a freedom fighter. The freedom revelotion started only after 1857, he died in 1799. He fight for save himself only not for freedom, he said.
He also demanded “The state government to provide Rs 25 lac to Harish’s family and also order judicial probe into Harish and the death of VHP leader Kuttappa in Madikeri.
Sri Rama Sene will start membership campaign from January 1, 2016, “Right now we have 1,35,00 members in the state, and we aim to increase the number to 2.5 lac during the campaign,” he added.
