Mangaluru : Sri Rama Sene decided to hold a massive protest against cow slaughter and to raise awareness on cattle protection on December 15.
Speaking in a press meet Anand Shetty Adyar on Friday, said that the procession will begin in ‘Save Me’ title from Dr Ambedkar Circle at 10.30 am, and will culminate at DC’s office. A tableau of cattle will show on procession.
More than 2,000 activists are expected to this rally and religious leader, Swamijis from various matta’s will take part on the occasion, he added.
Sri Sri Siddalinga Swamiji of Andola Math, Jewargi, Gulbarga, Shailesh Holla of Kamadhenu Trust, Bengaluru, Praveen Valke, SRS state chief secretary, Mahesh Koppa, SRS south province president, Kamalamma, state president of Durga Sene, and others will be present.
A memorandum also will be submitted to the state government through the DC against cow slaughter, he said.
Sudatta Jain, Jeevan Kumar Neermarga, Guru Pandeshwar, Narayana K, Venkatesh Padiyar and others were present.
