Udupi: The Swabhimani Sankalpa Yatra of BSR Congress Founder B Sriramulu arrived at Udupi to a rousing reception by Sriramulu admirers. A procession was taken out from Kalsanka and a public meeting was held at Chittaranjan Circle.

Addressing the gathering, Sriramulu first chose to strongly condemn the Morning Mist Home Stay attack in Mangalore by Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists. He said taking law into hands instead of informing the police was not acceptable.

He demanded that the incident should be probed by a retired judge appointed by the state government and urged that steps be taken to prevent such attacks in the future.

Sriramulu however parried questions shot at him regarding the deal for bail case.

Sriramulu was accompanied  by actress and party member Rakshitha, Mahipal and other leaders.
