Mangaluru: Shree Rama Sene (SRS) have warned the St Thomas School authorities to hold protest in front of every church in the district if the case filed over SRS is not withdrawn. This is said by the SRS State President Mahesh Koppa over the raid on St Thomas School, on Friday at Mangaluru Press Club.
Addressing the press reporters he said that the cases filed on SRS activists are false cases. There is no truth in the complaint.
“Few parents and locals went to the school and requested the head master to stop the teaching of Arabic language. Few hours later after the incidents case was filed against SRS activists. There is some political motive behind the case. The school was a government school, how can they teach Arabic there? Do they have permission for that?” he said.
“The enquiry should be conducted after registering a case by CDPO. The aid which is being granted to the school should be stopped. The government also should interfere in the matter, or else SRS will hold a state level protest,” he added.
He further said that SRS doesn’t indulge in any goondagiri in the school. SRS just requested the management to stop the Arabic classes. The district administration and police should probe this matter transparently.
