Bengaluru : Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh announced the SSLC examination results on Monday August 9.
Despite holding exams for the boards, Karnataka has received one of the highest pass percentage ever. On an opposite trend as compared to previous years, this year boys have performed slightly better than girls. None of the male students who took the exams has failed and attained a 100% pass percentage. Among girls, the pass percentage is at 99.99%.
The results were announced by Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh via a media briefing. Students can download marks memos from the official websites at sslc.karnataka.gov.in, karresults.nic.in, and kseeb.kar.nic.in. Students are, however, facing issues at the official website. While karresults.nic.in is displaying PUC II results, sslc.karnatak.gov.in is not working for some students. In such a case students can refer to digilocker.gov.in as well.
More than 8.7 lakh students will get to check their results today. Karnataka is one of a few states to have held exams for class 10 students. Unlike other states which have cancelled the SSLC exams, Karnataka had held the same amid COVID-19 precautions. The exams were conducted on July 19 and 22 in an objective type format. Despite concerns over the pass percentage, Karnataka board students have attained one of the best results so far for the board. As many as 71.80% of students cleared Karnataka SSLC exams in 2020, a dip from 72.79% in 2019
