Bengaluru : The results of SSLC exam, held in March this year, will be announced on May 12.
The results are likely to be announced by afternoon on Tuesday, said Mohammed Mohsin, Commissioner for Public Instruction.
As many as 8.56 lakh students had appeared for the SSLC exam. Students of 13,693 schools had taken the exam from 3,038 exam centres across the State.
The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has already declared the results for Class 12 Commerce stream.
The board has ventured to conduct the supplementary examination for the failed candidates of the examination of March in June every year; this will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. This process was introduced for the first time in the country.
Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board came in to existence in the year 1966. It conducts SSLC, Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/Pre University Courses (PUC) or plus 2 (10+2) education and examinations across the Karnataka state.
