Mangalore : The Community Awareness Campaign on Solid Waste Management was launched by the Department of Commerce of St. Agnes College at the College auditorium on September 25, Saturday.

Dr KN Vijay Prakash, Commissioner, Mangalore City Corporation participated as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said that, the aim of the programme was to create awareness among the common public through this educative programmes on the prevention of mismanagement of waste.

M Supriya AC, Principal in charge of the College presided over the function. Anjali Rao, III B Com compered the programme. Dr Devi Prabha Alva, the staff coordinator welcomed the gathering while Supreetha, III B Com proposed vote of thanks.
