Mangalore : Department of Commerce of St. Agnes College (autonomous) will organize an awareness week as a part of community awareness campaign (CAC) on solid waste management (SWM) from Aug 9 – 13.
Sr. Marie Prem D’Souza,  Principal of the college inaugurated the awareness week.
An executive committee members organized an oath taking ceremony as part of the event. Supreetha, Akanksha, and Melora read out the vision, mission, and action plan of the awareness campaign.
Dr. Devi Prabha Alva delivered the welcome speech and Shilpa Shetty proposed the vote of thanks, which was followed by an awareness rally held in the college premises at 12 noon.
