Mangalore: It was a nostalgic exhibition bringing back memories from a past history that students arranged at St. Agnes College as a remodeled history to cherish the bygone days, on Friday (January 27).
A chart exhibition on Eyes-Mirror of Life and soul, to dwell on the protection of eyes to sensitize students on the problems and challenges before blind persons, was also held, alongside.
Prof. Shirley D’souza head of history deptt. Guided the history show which concludes on February 3. Patterns of daily life, things of daily use, monuments and models of art were re-designed as a process of learning by students, at its best.
The show articulated the legacy of eyes in the life of young students, and suggested an awareness to donate eyes after one’s death to those who did not earlier have them, but could create history by seeing the world with donated eyes.
