Mangalore: The first graduation ceremony of St Aloysius Autonomous College will be held at Loyala Hall, St Aloysius PU College on May 28, Saturday at 3 pm, said Rev Fr Swwebert D’Silva, principal.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on May 26, Thursday said that Honourable Law Minister M Veerappa Moily, will participate as the chief guest and deliver the graduation day address.
Rev Fr Francis Serrao, president of Mangalore Jesuit Education Society (MJES) will preside over the event. Rev Fr Joseph Rodrigues, rector of St Aloysius Institution will grace the occasion.
He said that, 650 graduates have registered for the ceremony to personally receive the degree certificate. Rank holders will be felicitated.
The college apart from providing the book knowledge also provides the general knowledge to the students. The college is working for the development of museum to make it as a Mangalore Museum.
Dr A M Narahari, registrar, Rev Fr Walter Andrade, finance officer and Dr Richard Gonsalves, co-ordinator, NAAC were present at the press meet.
