Mangalore : The 133rd College Day celebrations of St Aloysius College was celebrated at the College premises on March 8, Friday.
TV Mohandas Pai. Chairman of Manipal Global Education, who was the chief guest, lauded the contribution of St Aloysius College in the field of education and for imparting quality education to the students thereby helping them gear up to face the competitive world.
Greeting women on the occasion of International Women’s day, he said the society must ensure that women live a life of dignity. He also said women will be the leaders in almost all fields in the days to come. He said education in India can be competent when it changes with times.
Fr Joseph Rodrigues, Rector of St Aloysius College presided over the function. Swebert D’Silva. Principal, Fr Andrade, Registrar(Evaluations), Fr Denzil Lobo, finance officer, Dr Narahari, Judith Pinto, Ronald Pinto, Fr Francis Almeida,Sanath Achar, President of Students’ Council and others were present.
Meritorious students were awarded on the occasion. Students presented a variety of cultural programmes that mesmerized the gathering.
