Mangaluru: The Hindi Department of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) Mangaluru, organised “Bhasha Sangham” a program which focussed on the development, maintenance and the use of complex systems tocommunication, held on March 8, 2018 in Xavier Auditorium of the College.

Dr Mukund Prabhu, HOD of Hindi Department welcomed the gathering.

The Chief Guest for the program was Dr Shikaripura Krishnamurthy , former HOD Social Professor in Sanskrit at St Aloysius College and also a well known Sandalwood actor, inspired the young mind with his words “Swim to the languages are the greater goals than other” and came up with different examples relating to his life.

Dr Mukund Prabhu spoke about the achievements of Chief Guest. Lecturers from various Departments: Dr Ratan Tilak Mohunta, HOD English Department; Dr Sarawathi, HOD Kannada Department and Ms Retnamma, Malayalam Department were the other guests.

Students from different faculties attended the program and got more awareness relating to language and communication. The program winded up with Vote of Thanks by Ms Vidya.
