Mangaluru: Students of the Dramatics Association of St Aloysius College(Autonomous) participated in a State Level drama competition which comprised of three levels- district, divisional and state organized by the Government of Karnataka, Kannada Samskriti Elake and Rangayana with the final state level round taking place in Bengaluru on the 3rd and 4th of March, 2017.

The play showcased by the students of the Dramatics Association was “Agnivarna” written by Mr. H.S. Venkateshwarmurthy and directed by Mrs. Bhavya Shetty. The play mentioned bagged the 1st place in both the district level which took place in Mangaluru and the divisional level which took place in the Kalamandira Rangayana, Mysuru and secured the 2nd place in the final state level round which took place in the Ravindra Kalakshetra , Bengaluru.

The competition received over 246 colleges as participants from all over Karnataka at different levels. The prizes were given to the winners by Mr.Dayanandh, Director of Kannada SamskritiElake, Bengaluru.

The Principal, staff and management are immensely proud and congratulates the students who have worked tirelessly for the last six months in order to achieve success.
