Mangalore, Feb 1, 2011: St Aloysius College to host state level Inter Collegiate Management fest ‘Spinout’ and National level fest ‘Art Beat’ on Feb 3 and Feb 4 at College premises.
Addressing the press meet Rev Fr Swebert D’Silva SJ, principal said that ‘Spinout’ is being conducted with the inspiring motto ‘Tomorrow’s Success- Begins Today’ which was initiated 14 years ago and has been providing perfect opportunity to the equip themselves with the skills required to face the Managerial challenges of tomorrow.
Various events likely to be conducted are Human Resource, Marketing, Finance, Best Executive, Creativity, Business (team game) etc. About 15 colleges from Mangalore University area, Mysore, Bangalore, Madekeri, Hubli, Bhatkal and Belgaum are likely to participate in the said programme.
The function will be inaugurated on Feb 3 at 9 am in the main auditorium by Retd Air Vice Marshall K R Karnik presently the director of Justice K S Hegde Institute of Business Management, Nitte.
Rev Fr Francis Almeida, vice principal and campus minister will be the guest of honour and Fr Swebert D’Silva SJ, principal will preside over the event. The valedictory function will be held on Feb 4 at 4.30 pm. Dr T Jayaprakash Rao, professor and director of AJ Institute of Management, Manglore will be the guest of honour ad Rev Fr Joseph Rodrigues S J rector of St Aloysius Institutions will preside over the function.
While Mr TNS Murthy, deputy chairman, NMPT and B S Karkera chairman MSEZ will inaugurate Art Beat on Feb 3 at 9 am at Eric Mathias Hall with the theme of the fest ‘Greenomania’.
Dr Saraswathi, staff co-ordinator of Art Beat, Mamatha staff co-ordinator of ‘Spinout’, Art beat student co-ordinator Naveen Menezes and Prf T Ramesh Kamath, Dean, Faculty of Business Management were present.
