Mangaluru: Mangaluru St Aloysius Student and MCC cadet Nishel Almeda has been chosen for the Republic Day parade which will be held in Delhi on January 26.

She is the daughter of Naveen D’Almeda and Chris Evert, residents of Kulashekhar in the city. She is the student of 9th standard in St Aloysius High School. She is a NCC cadet of Air Force and this year’s Republic Day parade will be a feather on her crown.

She thanked her teachers, NCC director Sunil Lobo and her parents for supporting her.

She has won best cadet award in all the NCC camps and she has passed the camps in Moodabidiri, Mysuru and Bengaluru to be chosen for Republic Day Parade.
