Mangalore: 4 noted civic personalities were honoured on Sunday at the St.Christopher’s Association at its annual feast and annual general body meeting held later on Aug. 7. Dr. Edward Nazareth of Muller’s Hospital had received the award of Konkani Sahitya Academy, Agnel Rodrigues for media work, Raisa Annica D’Souza for standing forest in  BSW, and Royston Pinto for securing 2 gold medals at Athens(Greece) in Special Olympics. They related their experiences.

In the port city, and presided. 13 children of members of St. C. Association were also feted for their educational attainments in various courses.
Denis Prabhu in his main speech pointed to ample opportunities in society to serve as Association members.
Sushil Noronha, Association Chairmen, welcomed members. Annual report was presented by victor Menezes, secretary. Victor Vaz Compered and A.D’Souza thanked the audience.
