Mangalore : The inaugural ceremony of St Josephs College for Management, business and administrative studies was held at centenary memorial hall Jeppu on Thursday August 12.
Prof PS Yedapadithaya, registrar of evaluation, Mangalore University inaugurated the programme. Speaking on the occasion, he said that this is the eighth institution the college is based on quality education and value based higher education. There is huge demand for BBM and B com since it is the course which provides job opportunity.
Dr Aloysius Paul D’ Souza, Bishop of Mangalore in his presidential speech, said that most of the schools in the Madikeri region were started by the missionaries with the purpose to educate the backward people in the society.
Rector of St Joseph seminary Fr Joseph Martis inaugurated the college website.
Prof Nivedita Lobo compered the programme. Fr Eric Crasta, principal of St Joseph College proposed the vote of thanks.
