Mangalore : A stag was spotted in the well of a farm house at Land Links near Derebail Konchady in Mangalore on May 19, Sunday night.

The  stag was fond in the well of Dr Kumaraswamy who says close by Land Links.  It is learnt  the stag was found when workers on  noticing slushy water  inspected the well. Though efforts made by locals to get the stag out, the fire service personnel were informed and in finally, the staff of the Pilikula Nisargadhama were informed who after injecting the stag with tranquilizers, finally lifted the stag  out of the well after tying its body to a  water pipe.

Later, speaking to reporters, Dr Kumaraswamy said though his family had noticed a stag in the holly area nearby his house, they had informed the forest department after it began to trespass to their garden and began to create problems. He said still no action had followed.
