Mangalore :  The 8th Star Nite organised at Kadri Grounds on August 29, Thursday by Kadri Cricketers as part of Mosaru Kudike celebrations was a stupendous success and was witnessed by a packed audience.

 Dance performances by Shwetha and Nisha mesmerized the audience while Jassie Gift,

Vani Harikrishna, Mahesh Sukhadare, Manikanth Kadri, Shriraksha, Deepak Doddera and Supriya Lohit enthralled the audience with their songs. Local dance troupes Ocean Kids, Section 8 and Excellent also presented superlative performance.

The trailer of  the Tulu movie “Rickshaw Driver’ was screened.

State Urban Development Minister Vinaykumar Sorake, M S Mahabaleshwra Bhat, General Manager, Karnataka Bank; Ratnakar Jain of  Jain travels Mangalore; Prasad Panikkar, Managing director of Victory Groups; Lakshmish Bhandary, MD Bhandary builders; advocate Shivaram Rao; Shrikar Prabhu former president of BJP; Rakesh Malli from INTUC; Shantharam Shetty, CA and Amruth V Kadri, KPCC general secretary  were present as chief guests.

Sorake who spoke on the occasion lauded the activities of Kadri Crickters in the field of social service.

Srikar Prabhu, BJP leader, actress Shwetha Srivastav, also spoke.
