Belthangady: After the Vidhana Soudha and Vikas Soudha, several taluk areas are buildings Vikiran (mini) Soudhas, for offices to functions therein under Panchayati Raj and Belthangady Taluk office Compound will see the construction of one such local mansion Soon, according to MLA K. The state Govt, has approved the plans for a structure coasting Rs 4 crores and all 19 departments of Taluk administration will function under a common roof, so that local people need not run from pillar to post, to get things done under a civic rights charter he added.

The “mini Vidhana Soudha” will house all important local department such as revenue education elections, food, and treasury. Even a court hall forest unit MESCOM and welfare departments are not left out so one can finish one’s business in one day there.

A blue print of the intended construction was sent to the concerned department (PWD) for approval. Budget would be prepared later on.
