Mangaluru: “The state government is responsible for the Cauvery dispute roits,” said Central irrigation Minister Ramesh Jigajanagi.

Addressing a press conference at district BJP office on Friday, he said that the government had failed to submit a effective affidavit.

“Due to the affidavit submitted by the government, SC had ordered to release 15 TMC of water. The state government is in trouble due to its own mistakes,” he said.

He further said that state BJP has clearly said that there is no need of releasing water to Tamil Nadu. Though the decision has taken already, BJP is ready to accept the decision which will be taken in emergency assembly session.
