Bangalore: Governor H R Bhardwaj declared here on May 31, Tuesday, that he would not leave Karnataka until a specific purpose is served during his turm in the Raj Bhawan. To a question whether he was embarrassed about the central refusal to impose President’s rule on Karnataka the governor replied that he had done his duty to recommend. There was no question of feeling embarrassed ever his sending reports every month to the centre on local matters, he clarified. He wished well by the state government that was doing good work all these 3 years and hoped it would do better.
