Mangalore: State BJP chairman K.S. Eshwarappa on a visit to coastal areas, said in Mangalore on Monday and made it clear that there were no guilty persons or wrongdoers in his party. There may be some facing charges in a court of law, but they are not held guilty, he argued.
H.N. Ananthkumar had stated earlier that those facing graft charges would not be given any post (of authority).
Eshwarappa explained that Ananth was probably referring to Bangaru Laxman who was in jail, convicted for bride, Stay there for 4 years.
The state BJP chief hoped that BJP would win all 6 seats of the Legislative Council, when elections are held shortly for these seats.
He inaugurated a Yuva Morcha meeting at Bappanadu, Mulky, on April 30. He said youth will be inspired nationwide, to fight terrarism, conversion, and violence in religious centers.
There will be a Youth Convention soon to create awareness about forth coming state elections and national level elections as well, KSE hinted.
State Yuva Morcha president Sunil Kumar told that on May 22, the convention would be held in Mangalore, when national Yuva Morcha chief Anurag Thakur, and Gujerat CM Narendra Modi would be present to address youth. Entry is for those below 30 years, he said.
