Mangalore :  A lesson of Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala has been included in the Class IX Hindi text book  this year. The 18th lesson in the Hindi text book with the title “ Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade” highlights the life and achievements of Dr Heggade. The three-page lesson  has elaborated on his activities as the Dharmadhikari in social religious and various other fields ; regarding the mass marriage conducted at the Sri Kshetra about the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project and other schemes.

There is also information on the installation of the gigantic 39 feet statue of Bahubali, and also on the various activities conducted at the Sri Kshetra. It also highlights  various areas of special interest of  Dr Heggade.
