ATM machine found Baikady near Brahmavar

18.06.10 Udupi  : An entire stolen ATM machine from Kinnimulki SBI branch on June 15 was found abandoned near a sugar factory at Baikady near Brahmavar in a ruined condition (due to pounding on hard surface) on June 17 (Thursday) but with cash missing.
There was Rs.14,51,200 in the ATM when the machine had been stolen. A similar case has been reported from Anekal near Bangalore, where police have rushed. The machinery was broken by the thieves who decamped with the loot.
SP Praveen M. Pawan arrived at the spot for further investigations with police officials. Heavy rains on the night of June 15 helped the robbery and machine was found by locals in parts and pieces near Brahmavar town in 2 days.
