Bantwal: Several people sustained injuries after bike-borne miscreants pelted stones at three private bus at Kudurebettu near Kalladka in Bantwal taluk here on Tuesday June 25.

The injured people, which includes bus driver and few children have been admitted to a hospital for treatment.

The bus ‘Celina’ was first stoned at Mani and at Panemangalore later.

After a case has been registered at the Badiyadka police station against Akshay Rajput, the leader of the Bajrang Dal in the Vittal region, alleging that he attacked cow smugglers in Adayanadka in Kerala on Monday. It is suspected that the act may have taken revange of that compalint.
