Kerala: the Sabarimalai Temple premises is in the grip of unidentified devotees, even some 250 black-cloth wearers copying police clearance documents to get into the proximity of temple god, Lord Aiyappa.
Hundreds of other devotees coming from Tamil Nadu and Andhra or other states have no specific identity cards on them, as they follow old liberal traditions of pure devotion.
But that way the “very sensitive” area like Sabarimalai Temple, is filled with unknown strangers wearing black clothes, who could pose danger.
The vigilance department of Aiyappa temple conducted a Survey and came back with the fact that strangers even serve in the temple as cleaners and helpers.
Are there any Criminals among them, is not clear. The temple administration has written letters to home ministries of Tamil nadu and Andhra, it is stated, on people who forged police clearance certificates to get an entry to temple area.
The Kerala police are under fire, for unidentified devotees not being sent back from Sabarimalai, or not facing any legal action on pilgrimage.
