Mangaluru: A bull was attacked a fish vendor near her house at Meenakaliya in Baikampady on Wednesday, June 10.

The deceased is Revathi (58) was returning home after selling fish at the Urva market at around 4.30, while two bulls were engaged in a fierce fight near her house at Meenakaliya in Baikampady. When she was just about to reach her house after work, one of the bulls all of a sudden attacked her inflicting serious head and abdomen injuries to her.

Locals immediately rushed to her hospital, but she could not be saved.

It is said, to be the first of its kind attack on women in the area. Panambur police have filed a report in this regard.
