New Delhi: Prime Minister addressing an all-parties meeting on Wednesday, stressed upon talks (and not war, or agitations), to maintain peace and progressive development in Kashmir valley. He discounted stone-pelting and conspiracies, to reach the desired goals. He was ready to talk to anybody to save Kashmir, but that person should eschew violence of any kind, he declared.
The valley has been on the boil for weeks, and there was increasing violence. He wanted a strategy to control the rebellious situation, and to consult all parties as to how he could meet the rising tide of people’s anger.
PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti has attended the meeting, whereas in the last 3 months, she was invited in vain BJP, CPI(M), RJD, JD(U), Samajawadi top leaders were in the gathering today to suggest ways for peace.
