Bangalore: All private mobile and internet services are expected to be affected  from September 11 midnight following an indefinite strike  call given by an association of private telecommunication employees The main demand of the Association has been to provide ESI and PF facilities to the half-roll employees and also to release the withheld salaries of many employees.

The association said due to the strike fuel supply to numerous microwave towers in the 25 districts of the state would be affected, resulting in stoppage of functioning of the towers. However, BSNL services would remain unaffected.
