Mangaluru : The city police commissioner N Shashi Kumar on Monday June 7 urged people to strictly follow the guidelines and warned of stringent action against violators.

Police officials have booked 13,57 cases for not wearing masks, 91 cases for not maintaining social distance, 253 cases under Natural Disaster Management Act, Karnataka Epidemic Act, and 2,410 vehicles have been seized.

Also, he said that 92 police officers have been infected by Covid-19 and 22 cases are still active.
