Mangalore: If the Hindu Jagarana Vedike raided the Morning Mist Home Stay at Kannur near Padil in Mangalore on Saturday night alleging a rave party on, the students who were partying  have said that they were not indulging in a rave party  but were only celebrating the birthday of a friend.

One of them Gurudutt Kamath, who spoke to the media said they had gathered at Morning Mist to celebrate the birthday of a friend named Vijay and even showed his birth certificate to prove the same. He also claimed that they were not involved in any illegal act, nor did they have drugs. He further claimed that no music was on and they planned to celebrate birthday by cutting cake.

He also said that the Hindu Jagarana Vedike barged in and without verifying the facts had begun attacking them.
