Bantwal :  Students of the Kamaje Government First Grade college staged a protest in the college after boycotting classes urging for the  transfer of a lecturer named Krishnappa Madivala.

The students complaint was  that the teacher was doing injustice to them and was also sowing seeds of hatred. Though the Bantwal police who arrived at the spot tried to persuade the students from withdrawing the  agitation, they said they will continue the stir until the Joint Director of Collegiate Education heard their appeal.

Finally, Yoganand, the Joint Director  visited the college. He met the students and the principal and assured to take a decision regarding the demand to transfer  the lecturer, by Thursday.
