Mangalore :  College Students Unions staged a protest  at Lalbagh on September 17, Tuesday demanding a CBI probe into the Panjimogaru double murder case reported two years ago.

Farooq Shanthinagar, President of Students’ Union, Mangalore, who spoke regretted the fact that the police have not been able to arrest the killers despite several protests and demands to hand over the case to the CBI.

He also threatened of a Mangalore bundh call if the demand was not fulfilled.

Several students from Kavoor area took part in the protest.
