Mangalore: M K Chishty a Sufi leader and head of Atodar Dargah Sharif in Gujarat and chief of Gujarat Huj committee and an extraordinary member of NaMo Brigade in his state came to Mangalore on Dec.26 Thursday to give a talk on “Modi and Muslims” organized by the local NaMo Brigade here, when Chakravarthy Sulibele welcomed him and introduced to the gathering as a model Muslim From Gujarat interested in Narendra Modi’s political activities.
Chishty who an International television system ‘Ummah’ at his place in Gujarat , during his talk cleared all cobwebs and wrong impressions created by congress leaders who ruled Gujarat for several decades and denote help Muslims in any way, but who are making wrong statements now about Godhra rights of 2002, making Modi as the Villon of Gujarat state.
Modi was 21 when he entered politics and joined BJP, while his relatives are still living in an old ancestral house in his native town. All these years of congress rule under a dozen of their CMs riots against Muslims where common, whereas after the 2002 riots under Modi rule the riots were over in 4 days only and there were no further riots involving Gujarati Muslims, Chishty said.
A number of Muslims in the state held good positions in Govt. officers, trade and business, and in other walks of right during the decade-old Mod’s rule. What befits had come to Muslims during the 40 years of rule by the congress in Gujarat, Chishty asked. The Congress had suppressed Muslims and made them poor by denying jobs and education in society, while Modi had provided 10% of Govt. jobs to Muslims and helped them take up trade and business with necessary capital. The congress in Gandhi’s home land had divided Muslims and separated Hindus, to remain in power continuously over 4 decades till 1996. When Modi came to power Congress started testing him by wrong propaganda and abusing him for Godhra riots of 2002 as against the 1992 demolition in UP of Babri monument and its after math.
Chishty told the audience that he knew Narendra Modi very well from his young age till now and his rise in BJP to the position of CM for 3 consecutive terms was not an accident or make-believe. Chishty declared that Modi was fit to rule India as next PM more than anybody else in BJP, or in Congress for that matter. Gujarat had seen peaceful days of economic progress without communal violent under Modi all these 10 to 12 years or more.
He wished Modi a bright future and success in his advent to come as next PM in New Delhi. Writer Mohammed Baddoor was present during informative talk about Narendra Modi given by Chishty at a time when poisonous propaganda was being made by congress leader in Delhi and other parts of India, to say that Modi was not suited to hold the post of PM.
