Moodabidre: A trusty of 16 Jain Basadis in DK-Udupi districts, Sunil Keerti Chouta (67), is no more he lives a large circle of friends and relatives. Several shops in Moodabidre were closed as a mark of respect for the departed soul.

Chouta was a dealer for several motor companies and vehicle manufacturers. His body was taken to the Chouta Bungalow Kayarmanj in Puttige.
