Mangalore : Sunith Nivas (78), owner of Nivas & Sons Watch Works,  breathed his last at Yenepoya Hospital in the city on June 20, Thursday. He was ailing since some time.

Sunith Nivas earned fame through his Nivas & Sons Watch Works which was founded in 1955 and introduced novelty in clocks and watches. His dedicated efforts to serve customers had won him appreciation.

He was also the President of Mangalore Brahma Samaj and former president of Rotary Club of Mangalore. He is survived by his wife and three sons. Funeral  procession will leave his residence at Bunts  Hostel Road at 4 pm.
