Udupi: The Supreme Court judgement allowing women of all age groups to enter the famous Shabarimale Temple is a historic one, opined Udupi District in-charge Minister and State Minister for Women and Child Development Jayamala.

“With this verdict, the Supreme Court has delivered justice to women. It is a matter of great pleasure. We are really grateful to the judges who gave this verdict,” she added.

“Women were hopeful of a victory in this case and it has come true,” Jayamala said.
