New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India has agreed on Tuesday July 5, to censure Justice P.D.Dinakaran (former CJ of Karnataka) now chief Justice of Sikkim state High Court, facing corruption charges of several counts.
Earlier, Dinakaran had prayed that the Supreme Court should drop the charge-sheered, legal action against him in his illegal property acquisition case.
The Enquiry committee was partial in its investigation of charges made against him, Dinakaran had pleaded. But a division bench of SCI Comprising Justices G.S.Singhvi and C.K. Prasad has vacated the stay order, to agree to the censure motion against him now.
