Surathkal : Surathkal police on August 22, Friday have nabbed two youth for morphing a girl’s photograph and blackmailing her with the obscene photos.

One of the arrested is identified as Nizamuddin, hailing from Panemangalur in Bantwal.

It is learnt that, Nizamuddin got in touch with the girl on Facebook and became friends. But when he proposed her for marriage, she refused saying that she was already engaged to a boy settled abroad. After being rejected by her, angry Nizamuddin downloaded her photos from Facebook and morphed it with the help of his friend Basheer.

Later, he sent the morphed photos to girl’s family and relatives and threatened to upload in Facebook, if she fails to pay the amount of Rs two lakh, demanded by him.

The girl bravely lodged complaint with Surathkal police station and police had successfully arrested the duo.
