Mangalore: Shameera (26), a resident of Katipalla has alleged that her estranged husband has not only filed a false case against her but had even threatened to kill her.

Speaking to reporters in Mangalore on July 23, Monday, she said her estranged husband Aboobakker had married another woman around six months ago without her knowledge and consent. She said some one sided reports in the media has tarnished her image and that she and her children found it difficult to face the society.

Shameera also said she had to live under the constant far of threat to her life.

Her mother Naseema was also present.
