Subrahamanya: Two days after  there was an exchange of fire between Naxals and ANF personnel  near Kulkunda in Subrahamanya, a suspected Naxal has fallen victim to the bullets of the ANF on Wednesday.

It may be recalled here that the ANF has been on a rigorous combing operations in the area ever since Naxals were spotted on Sunday.

Though initially the slain Naxal was suspected to be Vikram Gowda, a Naxal leader, it is not yet confirmed. The body has been kept in the mortuary of the local hospital. Further details are awaited.
