Udupi: T Venkatesh has been appointed as new Deputy Commissioner to Udupi district. He will replace Dr R Vishal’s place.

At present he is serving as a revenue member of Karnataka Appellate Tribunal. He started his carrier in government offices in 1983. He was promoted as IAS officer in 2014.

55-years-old officer have a experience of three decades in administration. He served as AC in Chitradurga, Kollegala, Sakaleshapura and Bengaluru South. He also served as General Manager of KSSIDC and Joint Director of RDPR. He is serving in KAT sice 2014.

Udupi ZP CEO Priyanka Mary Francis will take charge as In-Charge Deputy Commissioner till Venkatesh assumes his charge.
