Hyderabad: Cyclone “Thane” has made her presence in Andamans and Andhra Coastal areas on Wednesday. Tamil Nadu and Andhra coasts at cuddalore and Nellore respectively are likely to be attacked by strong winds on or about Dec 30.
“Thane” is already causing huge wages in Bay of Bengal, ready to rise high and strike shores in these two states, while passing on.
The weather department has indicated that the cyclone will be moving 600 Kms away in the east and South-east directions in the next 24 hours, to the coastal areas of Tamilnadu and Andra Pradesh.
The Cyclone will bring heavy rains, with winds blowing at 45 to 55 kms speed per hour by Thursday (Dec 29), the Metrology department informed as a warning for boats and coastal residents.
