Mangalore : The vast sum of tax-payers’ hard-earned money is being   misused by corrupt BJP government, alleged  State JD(S) President HD Kumaraswamy.

Speaking at a party workers convention held at Asaigoli Central Maidan on January 4, Friday, he said the maladministration and corruption has struck a severe blow to the common man.

On Yeddyurappa’s KJP Party, Kumaraswamy said the former CM was falsely claiming the Bhagyalakshmi scheme as his achievement. He said Yeddyurappa was now stating that he would protect the interests of the minorities when people have not forgotten that it was during his chief ministership that the infamous church attacks took place.

Kumaraswamy said  if elected to power his party would supply clean drinking water to all homes in the district. He also assured  better scheme s for the Endosulfan affected and  higher pension for the handicapped and widows under the government scheme.

District JD(S) Chief MB Sadashiva  too spoke. Party leaders  Nagaraj Shetty, Amarnath  Shetty,Vishwanath Pandit, D M Aslam, Pradeep Karkera, Abdul Azeez Malar and  others were present.
